Miniature villages have been used as part of Christmas decorations for many, many years as they are great to instantly add a healthy dose of festive cheer to any room. Traditionally, these micro villages, in all their Yuletide glory, were placed underneath the tree. In recent times, it is more common for them to adorn tabletops and sideboards, where they are much more visible to your seasonal guests. With a wide range of different buildings available, it is possible to create your own unique miniature village, starting with houses, then adding a church, a shop and an inn.
