Everything you need to power, extend and shape your ConnectPro display. From starter cables and timers to the full range of connectors, these are the professional accessories that let you run up to 7,600 LEDs, or 950 metres, from a single plug. The whole range is rated IP65 and covered by a 2-year warranty for reliable, year-round outdoor use.

  • Power from one plug: A single starter cable powers up to 7,600 LEDs or 950m of ConnectPro lights.
  • IP65 rated for outdoor use: Fully dust-tight and protected against water jets for prolonged outdoor displays.
  • 2-year warranty: Commercial-grade accessories backed by a 2-year guarantee.
  • Push-and-screw connectors: A threaded collar and rubber seal make a watertight bond in seconds.

What ConnectPro accessories do I need to get started?

Building a ConnectPro display is refreshingly simple, and it comes down to three essentials. First, a ConnectPro starter cable to supply power from a standard plug. Second, your chosen ConnectPro light sets, such as string, fairy, festoon, icicle or cluster lights. Third, an extension lead, if the plug is further than the starter cable's 2 metre lead from your first set of lights. Every light set and accessory then clicks and screws together into one watertight run, and a single starter cable will carry up to 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres.

Which ConnectPro starter cable should I choose?

The starter cable is the heart of your display, plugging into a household socket and feeding power to the first light through a heavy-duty rubber lead with a quality fuse. There are three to choose from, and you will need one per powered run.

  • 2m Starter Cable: The standard choice, in black or white, powering up to 7,600 LEDs from a single plug.
  • 2.3m Starter Cable with Timer: The same power supply with a built-in timer, so your display comes on and off automatically each day.
  • 2m Starter Cable with EU Plug: The standard starter cable fitted with a European plug for use abroad.

How do I add a timer to my display?

There are two easy ways to put your ConnectPro display on a schedule. The simplest is the 2.3m starter cable with timer function, which builds the timer straight into your power supply. Alternatively, add the separate ConnectPro timer controller inline anywhere on the run. Either way, the lights switch on for a set period each evening and turn off by themselves, saving you a job and trimming your energy use.

Which ConnectPro connector do I need?

Connectors are what turn a single run of lights into a full display, letting you branch around trees, buildings and borders from one plug. Here is what each one does.

  • Extension Lead (2m, 5m, 10m): The most-used accessory. Extends the gap between the plug and the first light, or inserts a blank section between two sets, for example carrying power from one tree across to the next. Join several together for extra length.
  • Y-Cord Connector: Splits one input into two outputs, ideal for sending lights in two directions or lighting two nearby trees from a single mains outlet.
  • 3-Way Connector: Converts a single lead into three outlets, perfect for running three separate light strings, such as three close-together trees, from one plug.
  • T-Cord Connector: Tees off an existing run to feed lights in a new direction without breaking the main line.
  • Ring and 5-Port Ring Connectors: Distribute power evenly around a ring, such as a wreath, column or roundabout, so the whole loop lights consistently.
  • 9-Port Curtain Connector: Links multiple curtain-light drops from one point for a seamless, even curtain of light.
  • 16A Commando Socket: A heavy-duty commercial power connection for the largest installations and events.

How do I plan a large or exposed display?

A little planning makes a big display effortless. Map your layout first and add up the total run length and LED count, keeping each starter cable within the 7,600 LED or 950 metre limit, and start a second powered run if you go beyond it. Use extension leads to cross blank sections and connectors to branch around obstacles, rather than trailing spare cable. For high, exposed or windy locations, and long spans between fixings, run your lights along a catenary support wire to take the strain off the cable, and protect the plug outdoors with a weatherproof box such as a DRIBOX.

ConnectPro® Accessories FAQs

What accessories do I need to start a ConnectPro display?

You need three things: a ConnectPro starter cable to supply power from the plug, your chosen ConnectPro light sets, and an extension lead if the plug is too far from the first light. Everything then clicks and screws together, and a single starter cable powers up to 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres.

What does a ConnectPro starter cable do, and how many can it power?

The starter cable plugs into a standard socket and delivers power to your display through a 2 metre lead, using heavy-duty rubber cable and a quality fuse. One starter cable powers up to 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres of ConnectPro lights, whichever you reach first.

Which starter cable should I choose?

Choose the standard 2m starter cable for most displays, the 2.3m starter cable with a built-in timer if you want the lights to switch on and off automatically, or the 2m starter cable with an EU plug for use on European sockets. You need one starter cable per powered run.

How do I add a timer to my ConnectPro lights?

Two ways. Use the 2.3m starter cable with timer function, which builds the timer into the power supply, or add the separate ConnectPro timer controller inline. Both switch your display on for a set period each day and off automatically.

What do the different ConnectPro connectors do?

Extension leads bridge a gap between the plug and the first light, or leave a blank section between sets. A Y-cord splits one input into two directions, a 3-way splits into three, a T-cord tees off a run, and ring and 9-port curtain connectors distribute power evenly around rings and across curtain drops.

Can I use ConnectPro accessories with ConnectGo or other lights?

No. ConnectPro accessories, including the starter cable, are designed for the 240V ConnectPro system only and cannot be used with ConnectGo or any other lighting system. Match ConnectPro accessories with ConnectPro lights.

What warranty do ConnectPro accessories come with?

ConnectPro accessories are covered by the same 2-year warranty as the rest of the ConnectPro system, reflecting their heavy-duty, commercial-grade build.
