For the densest, most dazzling effect in our connectable range, reach for ConnectPro cluster lights. Where a fairy light spaces its bulbs out, a cluster light bunches them tightly, packing 250 LEDs into every 5 metres for a solid, glowing garland of light. Built on the professional 240V ConnectPro system, they scale to 950 metres from a single plug, so you can light a whole avenue of trees or an entire roofline from one socket.

  • Maximum density: 250 LEDs per 5m on the standard range, for a full, bright, garland-like glow.
  • Built to scale: Up to 7,600 LEDs or 950m from one plug, ideal for large and commercial displays.
  • IP65 on rubber cable: Heavy-duty cable that stays flexible in the cold, with a 2-year warranty.
  • Three densities: Choose standard cluster, lighter mini cluster, or cascading cluster icicle.

Why choose ConnectPro cluster lights?

Cluster lights are all about impact. Because the LEDs are bunched so closely along the cable, a single set delivers far more sparkle per metre than a standard string, turning a wrapped tree into a column of solid light and an outlined roof into a crisp, bright line. On the ConnectPro system, that dense effect is paired with commercial-grade engineering: thick rubber cable, an IP65 rating and the scale to run huge lengths from one plug. It is the range professional installers reach for, and it brings the same wow factor to a large home display.

Cluster, mini cluster or cluster icicle?

There are three cluster styles to choose from, each with a different density and finish, so you can dial the effect up or down to suit the setting.

  • Cluster lights: The full-strength option at 250 LEDs per 5m, for the richest, brightest glow around trees and along rooflines.
  • Mini cluster lights: A more restrained 100 LEDs per 5m, spaced about 5cm apart, when you want a softer, subtler sparkle.
  • Cluster icicle lights: The dense cluster glow with hanging drops that alternate 40cm, 50cm and 60cm, up to 375 LEDs per 5m, for a cascading curtain along gutters and eaves.
  • Flashing clusters: A warm white flashing version that adds twinkling movement to the display.

Colours and lengths, from 5m to 150m

Pick your glow: warm white for a cosy feel, white for a crisp, modern look, vintage warm white for a soft amber tone, or multi-coloured for a bold rainbow. Sets come in 5 metre steps all the way from 5m to a full 150m, arriving as connectable lengths you click together, so you order the exact run your project needs and extend it as your display grows.

Powering a large cluster display

Cluster lights carry a lot of LEDs, so the total count matters more here than on a lighter range. A ConnectPro starter cable, bought separately, powers each run from a standard plug, up to the system limit of 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres. As a rough guide, that is around 150m of standard cluster or more of mini cluster, so tot up your lengths, start a second powered run if you go beyond the limit, and use extension leads and connectors to carry power neatly between trees.

Wrapping trees and outlining rooflines

Cluster lights come into their own on anything you want to look full and bright. Spiral them up a tree trunk and out along the branches for a dense canopy of light, run them cleanly along a roofline, fascia or fence for a sharp outline, or weave them through a hedge for a glowing bank of colour. Because each metre is so densely packed, you cover a tree in fewer passes than with fairy lights, and the cluster icicle version adds a beautiful cascading finish along the edge of a roof.

ConnectPro® Cluster Lights FAQs

How are cluster lights different from fairy lights?

On a fairy light, the bulbs are spaced out along the wire. On a cluster light they are bunched tightly together, so you get many more LEDs per metre and a much fuller, brighter effect. Our standard ConnectPro clusters run 250 LEDs every 5 metres, which is why a wrapped tree looks solid with light rather than dotted.

What is the difference between cluster, mini cluster and cluster icicle lights?

It comes down to density and shape. Standard cluster lights are the fullest at 250 LEDs per 5m. Mini cluster lights are lighter, at 100 LEDs per 5m spaced roughly 5cm apart, for a more delicate finish. Cluster icicle lights add hanging drops that alternate 40cm, 50cm and 60cm, up to 375 LEDs per 5m, to cascade down gutters and eaves.

How much can I run from a single plug?

Because they sit on the 240V ConnectPro system, you can power up to 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres of cluster lights from one plug through a starter cable. That is enough to wrap a row of trees or outline a large roof from a single socket, which is why the range scales to 150m sets.

Are ConnectPro cluster lights good for commercial displays?

Very much so. The heavy-duty black rubber cable, IP65 rating and 950m scale are built for professional installers wrapping avenues of trees or lighting a storefront, and the same qualities make them a hard-wearing, long-lasting choice for a large home display too.

Can I mix clusters with other ConnectPro lights?

Yes. Every ConnectPro product shares the same push-and-screw connection, so you can run cluster, fairy, string, icicle and curtain lights on one circuit, as long as the whole run stays within 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres.

Do I need anything else to power them?

Yes, a ConnectPro starter cable, which supplies the power and is bought separately. From there, extension leads and connectors let you carry power between trees and branch the run wherever you need it.

Are they weatherproof and guaranteed?

Yes. They are rated IP65 on rubber cable that stays flexible in the cold and resists UV, built for permanent, year-round outdoor use, and covered by a 2-year warranty.
