Add a dense, sparkling ribbon of light to trees, railings and pergolas with ConnectGo cluster lights. Part of our safe, low-voltage 31V ConnectGo system, these connectable clusters pack the LEDs tightly together for maximum impact, link up to around 100 metres from one power source, and can be run from mains, battery or solar. The whole range is rated IP44 and covered by a 2-year warranty.

  • Low voltage and safe: Runs at just 31V, a safer choice around children and pets.
  • Multi-power source: Power the same lights from mains, battery or solar, and switch to suit the season.
  • IP44 rated, 2-year warranty: Rust-proof and weather-resistant for indoor or outdoor use.
  • Fully connectable: Link with any ConnectGo lights and extend up to around 100m.

What are cluster lights?

Cluster lights are named for the way the LEDs are bunched, or clustered, closely together along the cable, rather than spaced out like traditional fairy lights. The result is a much denser, brighter and more sparkling effect, a full ribbon of light rather than a scattered string. Each 4 metre length carries 300 LEDs, giving around 1,200 lumens, so even a short run makes a real impact wrapped around a tree trunk, woven through a hedge or draped along a fence or pergola.

What ConnectGo cluster light options are available?

Every cluster light is part of the ConnectGo system, and you can choose the colour and cable to suit your space.

  • White LEDs: A crisp, bright, contemporary white for a clean, modern sparkle.
  • Warm white LEDs: A cosy, golden glow that suits gardens, trees and traditional displays.
  • Vintage warm white LEDs: A softer, amber-toned glow for a nostalgic, candlelit feel.
  • Clear or green cable: Clear PVC cable disappears against pale walls and is popular for weddings, while dark green blends into trees, hedges and foliage.
  • 4m to 48m lengths: Supplied in 4 metre lengths of 300 LEDs each, connected together to reach your chosen run.

How are ConnectGo cluster lights powered?

This is where ConnectGo really stands out. Rather than being tied to a single power type, the same cluster lights can run from three interchangeable sources: a low-voltage 31V mains transformer for the brightest, longest-lasting light, a battery box for spots with no socket nearby, or a solar panel for cable-free running through the lighter months. You buy the ConnectGo power source separately, then switch it to suit the location and the season. A medium transformer will run up to 1,600 LEDs, and the mains and battery power sources include a 6 or 8 hour timer so your display comes on and off by itself.

How much can I connect and how far can I run?

ConnectGo is built for small to medium displays, extending up to around 100 metres from a single power source. Cluster lights come in multiples of 4 metres, so a 40 metre order arrives as ten 4m lengths ready to click together end to end. Because any ConnectGo product connects to any other, you can also mix cluster lights with ConnectGo fairy lights, icicles, festoons and silhouettes on the same run, choosing a power source that comfortably covers your total length and LED count.

Where can I use ConnectGo cluster lights?

Cluster lights are wonderfully versatile, indoors and out. Wrap them tightly around tree trunks and branches for a dense, glittering canopy, weave them through hedges, railings and balustrades, or run them along a fence, pergola or gazebo. The clear-cable versions are a favourite for weddings and events, while the warm white and vintage tones bring a cosy glow to a garden or a Christmas display. Being IP44 rated, they are happy outdoors, so just keep the transformer or battery box dry.

ConnectGo® Cluster Lights FAQs

What are cluster lights?

Cluster lights pack dozens of LEDs closely together along the cable, rather than spacing them out like fairy lights, for a much denser, sparklier effect. Each 4 metre length carries 300 LEDs, so a run gives a rich, full ribbon of light that looks wonderful wrapped around trees, railings and pergolas.

What is the ConnectGo system?

ConnectGo is our low-voltage, 31V connectable lighting system, designed for small to medium garden displays where safety and flexibility matter. It is rated IP44, carries a 2-year warranty, and lets you link any ConnectGo products together and run them from mains, battery or solar power.

How are ConnectGo cluster lights powered?

They use ConnectGo's multi-power-source technology, so the same lights can run from a low-voltage mains transformer, a battery box, or a solar panel. A ConnectGo power source is required and bought separately, which lets you switch power to suit the spot and the season.

What colours and cable options are there?

The cluster lights come in white, warm white and vintage warm white LEDs, on a choice of clear or dark green cable. Clear cable disappears against pale backgrounds and is popular for weddings, while green blends into trees, hedges and foliage.

How far can I extend ConnectGo cluster lights?

You can extend a ConnectGo display up to around 100 metres, and up to 1,600 LEDs from a medium transformer, so choose your power source to match the total length and LED count of your run.

Are ConnectGo cluster lights safe around children and pets?

Yes. Because ConnectGo runs at a low 31 volts rather than mains voltage, it is a popular, safer choice for homes with children or animals, where there is a greater chance of a cable being knocked or nipped.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. ConnectGo cluster lights are rated IP44 and made with rust-proof technology and durable PVC cable, so they cope with rain, frost and dust for temporary outdoor use, and they work just as well indoors.

Do they have a timer?

Yes, via the power source. The ConnectGo mains and battery power sources include a built-in timer that runs your display automatically for 6 or 8 hours a day, so the lights come on and off without you lifting a finger.
