Giant Christmas Trees for Towns, Shopping Centres and Venues

A cone tree gives a town square, shopping centre atrium or hotel forecourt an instant focal point. Unlike a real tree, it keeps the same full, symmetrical shape from every angle, arrives in pre-built sections and goes back into storage to be used again next year. Councils, business improvement districts, retail parks, hotels and visitor attractions all use them as the centrepiece of their Christmas scheme.

Choose Your Commercial Cone Tree

Every tree in the range is made for outdoor display:

  • 4m pre-lit ConnectGo®: 19,475 PVC tips and 2,000 LEDs in white or warm white, with eight light functions, delivered in two sections.
  • 6m pre-lit ConnectGo®: over 48,000 PVC tips and 4,000 LEDs, with a discreet doorway into the tree for access to the wiring.
  • 4m Twinkly Plus: 2,000 app-controlled LEDs with hundreds of colours and animated effects, rated IP65.
  • Unlit cone tree: a blank canvas in 4m, 6m or 10m, ready for your own lights and decorations, with a doorway inside for cables and weatherproof boxes.

Built for Outdoor Displays

The pre-lit trees are built on aluminium box section painted green, so the frame disappears behind the foliage, and they are rated IP44 or IP65 for outdoor use. The ConnectGo® trees run on a low voltage 31V transformer kit. They arrive by pallet in pre-built sections that locate together and fix with metal brackets, so there are no branches to shape on site.

Light It Your Way

The ConnectGo® trees shine in classic white or warm white, with eight functions from steady glow to twinkle, waves and slow fade. For full colour, the Twinkly Plus tree runs animations and effects from a smartphone app. To carry the look further, add more ConnectGo® connectable lights or Twinkly™ lights to nearby trees and buildings.

Complete Your Christmas Scheme

A cone tree works best as the centrepiece of a wider plan. Line the approach with lamp post motifs, dress shop fronts with commercial wreaths and garlands, and buy everything on one order through a trade account for business pricing.

Commercial Cone Trees FAQs

How much does a commercial Christmas tree cost?

Our commercial cone trees start at £3,999.99 for a 4m unlit tree. The 4m pre-lit ConnectGo® tree costs £4,999.99, the 4m Twinkly Plus tree £6,999.99 and the 6m pre-lit tree £9,999.99, all including VAT. Budget separately for ballast or ground fixings, installation and the electrical supply.

Is an artificial or real Christmas tree better for a town centre?

An artificial tree costs more up front but less over the years. A real tree has to be bought, delivered, lit and disposed of every season: one Essex town council paid £3,000 for its tree in 2023, plus lorries, a cherry picker and disposal on top. An artificial cone tree is bought once, keeps its shape in all weathers, and on pre-lit models the lights stay on the tree between seasons.

How do you stop a large outdoor Christmas tree from blowing over?

Secure it with ballast, ground fixings or both. In a public space, a structural engineer works out how much holding force the site's wind conditions need, usually met with concrete blocks, water-filled ballast or screw-in ground anchors. Our cone trees must be ballasted or fixed to the ground whenever they stand outside, especially in public areas.

Should you choose a pre-lit or unlit commercial Christmas tree?

Choose pre-lit if you want the lights tied into the foliage with the cables hidden, ready to plug in each year. Choose unlit if you want to design your own lighting or use lights you already own. Our unlit cone tree has a doorway inside to keep cables and weatherproof boxes out of sight.

How long does an artificial Christmas tree last?

A good-quality artificial tree can last up to ten years with proper care. Our pre-lit cone trees are built on aluminium frames, which won't rust, and the lights stay on the tree between seasons, so the main job is storing the sections somewhere dry and covered when Christmas is over.
