Yes, many of our lights are rated for both indoor and outdoor use. Always check the individual product description for the specific IP rating. Most of our outdoor lights have a high IP44 rating or above, meaning they are fully protected against splashes of water and are built to withstand the unpredictable British weather.

As a general rule, we recommend approximately 100 lights per 60cm of tree height for a classic look, or 200 lights per 60cm for a more dense, clustered effect. For example, a 180cm tree would look great with 300-600 lights. Consider using cluster lights for a fuller, more intense sparkle.

Cluster lights are a type of string light where the LED bulbs are spaced much closer together, creating a high-density, intense sparkle. The best way to store Christmas lights is to wrap them neatly around a piece of cardboard or a specific light storage reel. This prevents tangling and makes them much easier to use the following year. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
