• Neon flex or rope light: Choose a crisp, solid neon-flex glow or a classic, sparkly rope-light finish.

What are ConnectPro silhouettes?

A silhouette is a flat, framed festive shape, outlined in light so it stands out clearly against a dark wall or the night sky. ConnectPro silhouettes take that idea to a commercial standard: each is forged from sturdy, powder-coated metal and lined with our exclusive ConnectPro neon flex or rope light, rated IP65 for year-round outdoor use, and fully connectable so it slips seamlessly into a larger ConnectPro display. The current range is all stars, the most timeless festive shape of all, in a choice of designs, sizes and colours.

What ConnectPro silhouette styles are available?

Every silhouette here is a star, but there is more choice than you might expect.

• Classic star silhouettes: Simple 5-point stars in 40cm and 55cm, in warm white or white, a clean and versatile choice.
• North Star silhouettes: The pointed Star of Bethlehem, from 70cm up to a commanding 2m aluminium star, with static warm white or white LEDs.
• Shooting star silhouettes: Five-point stars with long trailing tails, from 1.2m up to 1.7m, for a dynamic, eye-catching display.
• Neon flex stars: Metal-framed stars lined with smooth ConnectPro neon flex, in warm white, white and colours including red, green, blue and pink.
• Rope light and aluminium stars: Traditional rope-light stars, including large aluminium North Stars with a twinkle effect, for a sparkling finish.
• 3D star tree toppers: Three-dimensional connectable stars from 43cm to 85cm that double as outdoor tree toppers.

What is the difference between the star shapes?

Each star tells a slightly different story. A classic star is a symmetrical 5-point outline, clean and easy to place anywhere. A North Star, or Star of Bethlehem, has one elongated point and carries the festive meaning of the star that guided the three wise men, making it a natural centrepiece. A shooting star adds long trailing tails, capturing the movement of a star streaking across the sky, which makes it a real showpiece on a large wall or tree trunk. Choose the shape that suits your display and the story you want to tell.

Neon flex, rope light or aluminium?

The three constructions give three different looks. Neon flex is a modern LED tube that glows as one smooth, solid line of light, giving a crisp, contemporary finish, and it is our most popular choice for stars. Rope light offers a slightly more traditional, gently sparkling glow, and several of our large aluminium rope-light stars add a twinkling animation for extra life. Aluminium-framed stars are the sturdiest, built for the biggest commercial installations. Whichever you choose, the silhouette is IP65 rated and made to last.

How do ConnectPro silhouettes connect and power?

Because they are part of the ConnectPro system, silhouettes are wonderfully simple to power. Many include a T-connector, so the star slips into your run between fairy, cluster or icicle lights, and the whole display runs from one plug through a ConnectPro starter cable, which is required and sold separately. Keep the total within the system limit of 7,600 LEDs or 950 metres, and use extension leads and connectors to position each star exactly where you want it.

Where can I use ConnectPro silhouettes?

Silhouettes are made to be seen. Mount one on a house wall, gable, garage or tree trunk, where its outline reads clearly against the dark, or use a large North Star or shooting star as the centrepiece of a commercial display, a storefront or an event. The 3D star toppers sit proudly at the top of a large outdoor tree. Fix each silhouette securely using the frame's mounting points, run the cable safely back to a socket, and keep the transformer and connections dry.
