To activate the timer function, press the button on the right once to activate the 6-hour timer (the light will display green), then press it again to activate the 8-hour timer (the light will display red). Press this button again to switch the timer off completely.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e The timer operates on a 24-hour cycle; if you select the 6-hour timer, your lights will stay on for 6 hours, turn off for 18 hours, then automatically turn back on at the same time each day.
